Peer into the Butchers, the Ironmongers, the Bakery and the Fishmongers, not forgetting the stunning interior of the Minster Church. As you begin to explore in more detail, your mind will turn to wondering just how the group of skilled and dedicated model makers achieved such amazing ‘life like’ results – working as they did over sixdecades ago in a rural England still recovering from the war years.

The fun family worksheets suitable for all age groups which are provided free of charge, lead you through the many Streets and Lanes including the colourful prize-winning gardens, searching for those elusive clues. Eventually you approach Wendy Street, a designated safe play area for younger visitors. The four Wendy Houses provide hours of amusement while the grown ups sample the fresh, mouthwatering home made fayre available from the Tea Rooms which overlook the gardens.
