Watch our Access video to see many of the features which we hope will enable the widest range of visitors to enoy our attraction:
We have public parking including disabled spaces in the King Street car park directly opposite the Model Town.
There is a drop off lay-by within metres of flat level wallking to our entrance, and our entrance way is gently sloping and all the facilities buildings have ramped access.
We have two wheelchairs available to visitors; wheelchairs can access all but the narrowest of lanes in the Model Town.
There is plentiful seating throughout the grounds and handrails where necessary, and the toilet facilities incude a dedicated disabled cubicle.
Accredited Assistance Dogs are welcomed if needed by a disabled visitor.
Also, if a disabled visitor requires a carer to assist with a visit, only one admission charge is payable.
