Set out in the late 1980s, the gardens which surround the Model Town have over the years given much pleasure to visitors. For 2018 they have received accredited listing by the National Garden Scheme. Including herbaceious borders, a vegetable garden, rockery, miniature river system, shrubs and trees, they are tended by an enthusiastic group of volunteers. The Sensory Garden area includes grasses, wind and water features and a seasonally fragrant and colourful border. There is plenty of seating to enjoy the view.
We are delighted to receive praise from our visitors and "Best Garden..." first prizes, including 2017, in the annual WIMBORNE IN BLOOM competition.
